Privacy and source content
YouTube and source content
Panel Club uses YouTube API Services to display video publication dates, public video statistics and selected public YouTube comments with source attribution. Panel Club ratings are submitted directly by visitors; YouTube engagement statistics do not contribute to star ratings.
Stored snapshots and recovery
YouTube metadata is stored with its observation time and refreshed through a background worker. Snapshots older than 30 days are excluded from display. YouTube comments are refreshed daily and link to their original source. Native written reviews remain retired; Panel Club accepts star ratings only. Previously submitted content may remain in restricted storage for retention and removal requests. Encrypted daily application recovery points are retained for seven days; resolved native reports may be pruned after 180 days. External report decisions are retained independently of source comment snapshots.
Sign-in and member ratings
New ratings require Google sign-in and store your stars linked to your Panel Club account. We store your Google account identifier, email, name and profile image URL for authentication, plus secure session records. Your email and profile details are not displayed with public ratings. Authentication tokens are encrypted at rest by the application. We request basic identity scopes only and do not request access to your YouTube account. Older anonymous ratings remain in restricted historical storage and do not contribute to the member rating score. A separate signed anonymous cookie may still be used for source-comment reports; those actions remain rate limited using short-lived hashed network identifiers.
Your choices and local library
You can sign out or delete your account and its ratings. Deletion revokes sessions and removes live account data; encrypted recovery copies expire within seven days. Your saved episodes and watching progress remain browser-local and are not uploaded when you sign in. YouTube embeds and external links may use their own cookies and collect data under their providers’ policies.
YouTube terms
Using YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
Private feedback and requests
Use the feedback form for suggestions, problems, sponsorship enquiries, or removal and privacy requests. No sign-in is required. We store your message and optional reply email privately for the creator to review; they are never shown publicly. Avoid sensitive personal information. Short-lived hashed network identifiers help prevent spam and expire from active storage after 24 hours when new feedback is submitted. Feedback remains in restricted storage until it is deleted by the operator; you can request removal through this form. Deleted data may remain in encrypted recovery copies for up to seven days.
